GIANTS OF THE DEEP
Every year from December to April, Punta Mita residents and guests can see migrating humpback whales in Banderas Bay. These magnificent mammals, which can reach a length of 55 feet, often breach the water, their massive tails flapping, before splashing below in a magical water ballet. They may be sounding their mating song, and they may come close to a watching boat, even rub against it and gaze at the people on board. These are unforgettable moments, a reason to savor Punta Mita’s seaside sanctuary. |
